Just Like Me

Today after school during reading homework, Big Sister started a new book. But she wanted to keep reading it to find out what happened. At first, she read chapter after chapter aloud to me, even when I started dinner and was working in the kitchen. Then, she read to herself but would stop on every page when there was something funny to tell me about it. (Love that) Then, I let her read through dinner (Let's call it an experiement). After that, I was at the computer for a few minutes and she perched herself up on the dining room table. When I looked over, I noticed she was nearly finished with the book.......

Then she WAS finished with the book.

Now, it is totally like to me to set up a "shoot" like this, and make her pose in different ways while reading. But let me assure you- I didn't. This is her, totally engrossed in her book, devouring it,  and enjoying every minute.

Just like me.
